Two studies from last month show that homes with a green certification command a higher price premium and spend less time on the market than homes without a certification. These findings affirm the results of previous studies (HERE and HERE) reporting the same trend.
These studies indicate that homebuyers are valuing the benefits of a green home – comfort, quality and energy efficiency – more than ever, and are looking for the assurance a green label can provide.

Thanks John! It's become standard practice for myself and other LEED builders here to treat 100% of the wood used in framing with sodium borate for prevention of termites for (hopefully) the lifetime of the homes we build. No more tenting!
